We're very easygoing people. And I try not to micro focus on things that don't matter. But our room when we first got here and went in had not been cleaned or turned over at all. The beds were still unmade and there was trash on the countertops. Seth, the wonderful front desk attendant, apologize and gave us a new room. Let me preface this by saying that Seth is a wonderful asset to this establishment. Anyway, I do understand you get what you pay for, but our room was not clean. We found a sock underneath the couch sticking out. Or better yet, our 13-month-old found it. 🤮 There is trash between the couch and the separation wall. The couch itself has removable stains on it that I don't even want to begin to have to wonder what they are. The bed sheets had stains on them visibly, and holes. The headboards had some sort of weird oily residue on them. And the fridge did not work, and had mold growing in the door of it and food or liquid residue from the previous tenants. We were not able to use the fridge, but did not want to be a pest to Seth because there were so many other issues that we had to bring to Seth's attention. I pulled out the ironing board to iron my husband's dress shirt, and the ironing board fell not once, but twice. Seth graciously brought us another one, and that one did the same thing but I was able to get it to stand up with some prying. Breakfast was very eclectic, but the eggs both mornings were very very dry. I do want to add that while I was checking in with Seth when we first got there, I'm assuming it was a housekeeping staff member, busted in from the back room behind the front desk and completely interrupted mine and Seth's conversation about something that was not urgent. But she was leaving so I guess she felt the need to interrupt us. I understand not everyone knows how to read the room, but this was a very very rude gesture. Seth did apologize and Like I said, Seth is an absolute jewel. I hate to be that person, but I felt like even though Seth was able to help me with some of the issues, This place is a whole needs to step up its game when it comes to housekeeping and cleanliness.
