Chris AI wish I could do 4.5 stars. The story... They double booked a room which led to an interesting interaction... I had to choose between this Holiday Inn and the La Quinta decided to go with the holiday inn. I decided to go with the Holiday inn. When I get there I get room 312 which is one of my lucky numbers weirdly. So I get to my room and fight with the door, You have to pull the handles up not down which I think is against ADA but whatever. I open the door and its like 90 degrees in the room. I then see a bag on the bathroom counter. I thought it was the hairdryer and clothes iron or something. Then I take a step in and see another bag on the ground, "uh oh this is someone rooms" I say to myself and turn to leave and I am greeted by a horrified older woman. She just so happened to be coming down the hall as I was fighting with the door. So from her perspective I just broke into her room. Thankfully she didn't freak out and we headed to the front desk to get it straightened out. I got moved a few rooms down so it wasn't a big deal. But again this room was REALLY hot when I got in. Now for the actual review. The Cons: The A/C is some super eco friendly thing that shuts off midday and you have to manually keep turning it on. This REALLY sucks when the windows face the west. The door handles/locks are the old style and the keys get wiped very easily especially if you have a phone case with magnets in it. The hot tub doesn't have functioning jets The location kinda sucks if you miss you turn off the highway. The in unit fridge doesn't have a freezer The Pro-con? The shower has almost too much pressure and there isn't a flow adjustment but this is better than not enough pressure. The pros: The bed is REALLY comfortable if you like softer beds The bathrooms are nice The wifi is not the worst I have used The location is good for food as there are multiple shops within walking distance. The breakfast is honestly really good This is better than the la quinta. I am literally writing this review from the la quinta down the rode a week later and next week I will try the hampton.

slg918I've stayed here several years in a row to visit family in the area, and every year it has more issues. It has been a long time since a renovation and even minor maintenance isn't completed without asking. Summer 2026 I had to ask that my sink be snaked as it was backed up, the door locks have to be continually rerun with cards as they are old and dying (per front desk it's all it just one problem room), and parts of the room randomly "fall" with no effort/ impact -- coat hooks, parts of furniture, etc. cleanliness is okay which is the saving grace but honestly expect more from holiday inn brand
