This place is awesome for hiking, hanging on the lakes or just enjoying relaxing in nature. Trails are very well marked. Only disadvantage was our camp site said it had sewer hookup but did not. Only looked like sites on the right hand side of Old Circle Loop when you first drive in until the bend has sewer. Before site 32. Other than that, we had a great time!

The Park itself was an amazing time! We stayed in Urt 2 and the ac was not the greatest and all the screens on it were ripped, that was a 4/10, I recommend bringing some fans. Be prepared to walk a good distance to the bathrooms also. All in all I only had 2 complaints really but we still had a great time and look forward to doing it again next summer. (Better prepared for next summer)

Wow.. so gorgeous. I cannot believe it was my first visit. There are so many different trail options so everyone can enjoy. The views are gorgeous. This a great place for a quick day trip or an extended stay. Great place for family fun and a gorgeous place to go alone for peace and serenity. Highly recommended for all.

The park is a beautiful area. Nice hiking, swimming hole, swimming pool, playground area. Note you are to pay to park in almost ever area. The lodge looked nice. They serve coffee in the morning, but do not offer breakfast and the restaurant is closed until they find a new vendor. Also the rooms do not have kitchens, they do have a microwave. Many cabins available, they do have kitchens.

My family recently stayed at this state park. Some camped, some RV camped and some stayed in cabins. Everyone seemed to enjoy everything about their stay. The cabin I stayed in was very nice and clean. It was the perfect size for my little family. We had a full kitchen (except dishwasher), a dining table, pullout couch and two rocking chairs, a queen size bed and a nice sized bathroom. Outside We had a picnic table and a fire pit with 6 chairs. We used the fire pit each evening. We enjoyed exploring the park and enjoying the scenery. We wanted to fish, but didn't have enough time. So we will next time. The gift shop was cute and the employees there were very friendly. The public bathrooms we used were very clean. The lodge/office was beautiful and clean and the employees there were very kind as well. We bought fire wood and ice from them. We'd love to stay again! (The RV campsite could use some TLC)
