Gary ThompsonWant to give a shout out to the staff for treating me like a human being. This town is one of the most rascist towns I've been too and dehumanizing.......but when it comes to the library it becomes a safe space to think, create and just have peace within the storm. They've given me respect and kindness each time im there. Shout out to Mike with the locs and Anna, Tammy, Andrea, and Lacey! Really good people. Comic books on point!

I've never seen anyone working there that wasn't eager to help and knowledgeable about the entire Library. McAlester Library is such a wonderful place to visit for many reasons, not just for books!
